I think that quote at the top of this page describes perfectly the power and importance of your wedding film. As I look back on the last couple of years with my wife, there have been so many wonderful things that have happened. From moving to FL, then back to Alaska, getting our first apartment together, my wife getting pregnant and then having our baby girl and much, much more... With all that, I've come to realize how crucial it is for me and you to have some way of bringing us back to that pivotal moment in the history of our lives - the day that changed everything for the better. IN A WAY THAT NO PHOTOGRAPH OR JOURNAL ENTRY CAN EVER COMPARE, MY FILM DOES THAT FOR ME. And that's what I want to do for you. Because this day, your day, is a day you're never gonna want to forget.
YOUR LOVE STORY on film 4EVER
I’m a husband, a father, a filmmaker... then I’m also a farmer, a musician, and an Alaskan through and through. I love God, I love my family, and I LOVE what I get to call “work”. Except it never feels like work when you’re just hanging out with your new best friends on their wedding day!
I’m seriously blessed to have a life full of so many different adventures. A week in my life can look like this:
day 1: Helicopter ride out to film an AWESOME elopement out on the Knik Glacier. Nathan + Cassandra hitched for life - best. Day. Ever. day 2: Running my sawmill to cut a spruce tree down into lumber so I can build walls for the chicken coop I’ve been building - but when I say coop, I mean a giant barn that can house 1000 egg laying chickens - because someone’s gotta restock the shelves on the store ;). day 3: Date night with my beautiful wife and baby girl, who at the time of writing this, is 7 months old! Crazy how time flies! For this week’s date I’ve got some PVC in my trunk to make marshmallow guns 😂. Seriously hyped for this one.
day 4: Edit together Hannah + Jason’s love story - find all the best moments of the day and put them into what I hope is my next masterpiece. day 5: Make a ninja crème with my wife cause we’re trying to eat less ice cream but still want ice cream 🍦 day 6: Start recording a song in my studio cause I love my wife and can’t stop writing songs about her haha. day 7: Church on Sunday - I get to lead “singing time” for kids' worship - such a blessing - and then that’s the one day my wife and I get to enjoy a nice nap 😴 (if our daughter, Jane, lets us haha).
